WHO
DECIDES THE SAILING ITINERARY?
This can be jointly decided between
yourself and the captain, or you can let the captain recommend
the best route given your preferred activities. This will
also, of course, be influenced by local weather conditions. |
DO
I NEED INSURANCE?
Whilst the yacht will be fully insured
we recommend that you do take out standard holiday insurance
together with a cancellation policy. This ensures that
in the unfortunate event of you having to cancel your
trip you will be able to claim against your insurance. |
DO
WE SAIL ALL DAY?
This will depend on the area in
which you’re sailing and the selected itinerary.
If you are looking to sail for just a couple of hours
each day, but mainly enjoy your time at anchor or ashore
and are looking for a holiday in the Caribbean, then we
recommend the British Virgin Islands. |
SHOULD
I TIP?
In the Caribbean yacht crews work
on the American system whereby a gratuity is received
for hard work and good service. This is not mandatory
and is up to the individual, but is generally between
10-20% of the charter price. |
WHAT
HAPPENS ONCE I DECIDE TO GO AHEAD?
Once you've confirmed your dates
we'll send you a contract to sign. This is then forwarded
to the Captain of the boat for his signature and a copy
sent back to you. At this point a 50% deposit is required
to secure the booking. This can be paid by cheque, cash,
Visa or wire transfer. |

MUCH WILL THIS COST?
